Contest

• The submission period is from 20 October to 16 November 2021.
• Submissions that does not meet the criterias set by SOCAR will be disqualified.
• A total of 11 winners who meet the criteria will be selected.
• SOCAR has a full discretion to determine the final winners.
• By entering SOCAR’s Snap & Win, contestants agree to allow SOCAR and its subsidiaries alike to use their image(s) for marketing purposes.

Submission’s criteria

• Contestants must hashtag #SOCARSnapandWin and any of these cities (#KL/JB/PG/MLK/IP/SL/SBN) to be eligible.
• Car(s) featured in the submission photo must be from SOCAR’s fleet. 
• Winner’s Selection is based on internal judgment and post engagement.

• The prize to be won is a 1-DAY FREE drive coupon from SOCAR.
• The prize will be given in the form of a promo code.
• Only 1 time redemption per user. Applicable to ALL cars. Valid till 31 Dec 2021.

1. This Snap and Win (“Campaign”) is organised by SOCAR Mobility Malaysia Sdn. Bhd.
2. By participating in this Campaign, all participants (“Participants”) will be deemed to have read, understood and expressly agreed to be bound by the Terms & Conditions of this Campaign as stated herein and any additional terms and conditions stipulated by the SOCAR (as may be applicable) including the decisions of the SOCAR in all matters related thereto.
3. Information on how to enter forms part of these conditions of entry. Registration for and/or participation in this Campaign is deemed as acceptance of these conditions of entry. Acceptance of these Terms and Conditions is a condition of entry.
4. This Campaign runs from 20 October 2021 00.00 (GMT +8) until 16 November 2021 23:59 (GMT +8) (both dates inclusive) (“Campaign Period”). The SOCAR reserves the right to amend or extend the duration of the Campaign at any time as they deem fit.
5. To qualify and participate in this Campaign, Participants must fulfil the following requirements (“Campaign Requirements”):
a. Must be an existing SOCAR member (having subscribed and registered for membership via SOCAR mobile application subject to https://socar.my/terms) at the point of participation in the Campaign;
b. Perform any of the activities below (“Activities”) during the Campaign Period to be entitled to the as per table below to stand a chance to win any of the prizes provided herein: –   
1. Contestants must hashtag #SOCARSnapandWin and any of these cities (#KL/JB/PG/MLK/IP/SL/SBN) to be eligible.
2. Car(s) featured in the submission photo must be from SOCAR’s fleet.
3. Winner’s Selection is based on internal judgment and post engagement.
At the end of the Campaign Period, Participants may be contacted by SOCAR via email or any other mode deemed appropriate in relation to the Prize. If there is no response from the Participants after three (3) attempts, SOCAR shall have the absolute discretion to select another Participant to become the winner, as more particularly described below.
Eleven (11) Participants will be chosen (based on the Activities performed as tabulated above) (“Winner”) to be awarded with the following prizes (“Prizes”) below:-
Top prize – 1 day (24 hours) free drive with SOCAR. 1 redemption per user. Valid till 31 December 2021. Available nationwide. No limitation on car type.
For avoidance of doubt, if there is more than one (1) Participant with the same number of post engagements, the winner of the Prize will be selected on a random basis.
6. The Prizes will be credited to the Winner’s SOCAR’s account within four (4) weeks from the completion of the Campaign Period.
7. Only Participants that fulfil the Campaign Terms and Conditions and Campaign Requirements shall be eligible to receive the Prizes. Participants that fail to fulfil the Campaign Terms and Conditions and Campaign Requirements will automatically be disqualified from the Campaign without notice.
8. The SOCAR reserves the absolute right to substitute and/or replace the Prize from time to time without any prior notice to the Participants.
9. The SOCAR further reserve their right to use any collected personal data, in accordance with the SOCAR’ respective Privacy Policy at https://socar.my/privacy-policy, in any manner and/or for any purpose related to this Campaign and the Participants are deemed to consent to such use with no monetary payment.
10. The SOCAR reserve the right in their sole discretion to disqualify any Participant and/or to forfeit the Prize if the SOCAR reasonably believe that the Participant has undertaken any fraudulent practices or activities or other activities harmful to this Campaign or to the SOCAR.
11. Participants may be contacted, at any time deemed appropriate by the SOCAR, via e-mail or any other mode of communication deemed appropriate by the SOCAR.
12. The Prize are not exchangeable and/or transferable and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash. The usage of the Prize is subject to the Terms and Conditions which can be found at https://socar.my/terms.
13. The SOCAR reserve the absolute right to cancel, terminate or suspend the Campaign with or without any prior notice and/or assigning any reason. For the avoidance of doubt, cancellation, termination, or suspension by the SOCAR shall not entitle the Participants to any claim or compensation against the SOCAR for any and/or all losses or damages suffered or incurred as a direct or indirect result of the act of cancellation, termination or suspension.
14. The SOCAR accept no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, corrupted or misdirected submission whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction or otherwise.
15. The SOCAR, subsidiaries, affiliates, and associated companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Campaign and/or Prize (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
16. The Terms and Conditions contained herein shall prevail over any inconsistent terms, conditions, provisions or representation contained in any other promotional or advertising materials for the Campaign.
17. The SOCAR reserve the absolute right to vary, delete or add to any of these Terms and Conditions (wholly or in part) from time to time without prior notice to the Participants.
18. All expenses associated with this Campaign such as transportation and accommodation (if applicable) shall be solely borne by the Participants.
19. These Terms and Conditions may be translated into other languages. In the event of inconsistencies between these Terms and Conditions and the translated versions, the English version shall prevail.
20. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia.
