How-To: Request to reimburse your fuel charges
Not sure how to claim back charges for refueling your SOCAR when using your own money? We got you covered with our new, seamless “Reimburse” in-app feature. No more hassles of manually contacting our Customer Service.
Simply claim your money back directly from your SOCAR SmartKey in just 3 steps:
Step 1: During reservation period, go to the SmartKey tab and select Reimburse.
Step 2: Snap a photo of your receipt beside the SOCAR car road tax and review to ensure you’ve got it all clear.
Step 3: Submit the refuel details and select your reimbursement method: SOCAR Points or Bank Transfer.
Once you’re done, our CSR Team will process and update you on the status under Profile > Payments > Reimbursement. It’s that simple!
SOCAR Points or Bank Transfer? Which reimbursement option should you pick?
Our recommended method is reimbursements via SOCAR Points (Pro-tip: you earn 10% more points and get your refund within 12 hours). Alternatively, you can select refund via Bank Transfer. This reimbursement option may take up to 10 working days to be credited.
NOTE: To request for fuel charge reimbursement after reservation time, contact our Customer Service by pressing the Live Hotline button and submitting a 1:1 inquiry. Our Customer Support team will reply within 24 hours!
